Today was the day we took a long journey up to Bothell to visit my sister Lisa and her three kids Tommy, Lucas and Carlyn. Being that we live nearly one hour apart, we don't get to see each other very often so we were excited to see them and to check out their house which has been being remodeled for months!
Shortly after we arrived we went to a nearby park at the north end of Lake Washington. We checked out the float planes at Kenmore Air Harbor (would have been perfect for "K" Day yesterday) and then we went to Log Boom Park for a picnic lunch and give the kids some time to play on the jungle gym.
After we returned from the park, we got a tour of their gorgeous home which is still a work in progress. The remodel is now focused on the kitchen area and it's going to look AMAZING when everything is done!
