We are so fortunate to have a group of friends who are willing to help out with watching each other's children so we can go to appointments and on occasional dates without kids in tow and without the expense of a babysitter.
Tonight we ended up with eight kids at our place while two different couples could go on dates. One couple was celebrating an anniversary while the other couple needed some uninterrupted time to work on their budget. It just so happened that since we were already staying home to watch two kids, what did it harm to add another four?
The house with loud and full of energy! The kids loved making their own mini pizzas for dinner and had a great time.
We were glad to do it to help out some friends and soon we will have a opportunity to send our kids to their place! {{giggle}}
