"T" is for tenting

For "T" day, we just so happened to be leaving for our annual family camping trip so we could use the letter "T" for tent and travel.



Although it's not my favorite form of vacationing, the kids LOVE to tent! We packed up the car and took an hour drive southeast to the Eatonville area to Silver Lake Executive Resort.



The resort was a bit disappointing but the kids had a blast with their cousins and got to do some fishing (no fish caught).

My sister-in-law, Tina, came up with a great craft idea for the kids to do. We all brought wooden bird houses or signs and decorated them using caulking and assorted items like marbles, beads, shells, etc.



Erica decorated the birdhouse that Evan had built earlier this summer at cub scout camp. I think she did a great job!
