This weekend we had the opportunity to go camping with several great families from our Cub Scout Pack. We camped at Mayfield Lake Park in Mossyrock, about a 2 hour drive from home. Our group was together at a group campsite and it worked out very nicely. We had access to our own bathroom facilities which included flushing toilets and showers (last year we only had a pit toilet {yuk!} and no showers!).
Families had the option of arriving on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. We opted to come on Saturday morning and spend just one night at the camp site. All was good with our camping experience with the exception of our air mattress which mysteriously lost air during the night.
