Whew! Life gets really busy with both kids in school and all that goes with it! Here's a few quick highlights from the past week...
Erica returned from her second day of school to find a large package had arrived in the mail. She was very excited to find that Auntie Jane and Uncle Alan had sent her a very special birthday gift that they picked out especially for her from The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. It's a beautiful plastic horse which she just LOVED, of course!
Evan was recently commissioned by Fred with the task of typing a list of all 66 books of the bible on the laptop computer. Everyone in our small group is in the process of learning all the books of the bible in order and we needed a list to start our memorization. Evan diligently worked on the list and loved his "computer time".
On Saturday, Evan had soccer pictures and a jamboree. He was excited to have the first opportunity to play goalie! He just needs to learn to be aware of the goal box and not get too excited watching the game and getting out of position. Althought this is Evan's 4th year of soccer, this will be his first season where we keep score and count wins and losses.
Erica continues to be the "calendar girl" and is happily making monthly calendars for Fred to bring to work with him. She comes up with her own original designs and decided that since September is Fred's birthday (hmmm...I wonder how old he'll be this year?) it had to have a birthday cake on the calendar.
Lastly, Erica was SO excited to finally lose her 2nd top tooth!!! She's so excited to be sporting this big empty gap on the top of her smile :-)
