Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Ok...enough already!

Imagine the kid's excitement when they woke to snow on December 14th! As a result, school started 2 hours late on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The weather did not improve and the road conditions got worse due to the severe cold temperatures and wind. As a result, school was cancelled on Thursday and Friday which made for a longer Christmas vacation.


Then more snow came on December 21st....



No complaints from the kids!








It continued to snow all day and night on December 21st!








The circles of light were caused by our Christmas lights which surrounded our bedding areas in our landscape. The heat generated by the light bulbs, caused the snow to melt in a perfect circle. They became like luminaries, very cool!





And then we got MORE snow on December 22nd!!! Much to the delight of the kids!



Although the snow is beautiful, it has reeked havoc with many of our Christmas Season celebrations and the road conditions have been a problem. I'm ready to get back to green versus all the white we've seen around here!

No doubt we'll be having a White Christmas this year!
