From The Little's - Fred, Sue, Evan and Erica
While it's always exciting to look forward to a new year, it's also nice to look back on the current one. For us, 2008 was an interesting year, that's for sure! It definitely had it Ups and Downs!
Throughout the year, we have tried keeping this blog up-to-date, with many memories, both in story form and of course, pictures. We sincerely hope you enjoy looking through and sharing our year of memories.
Here are some of the events and milestones this past year:
- We kicked off 2008 with Evan celebrating his 7th birthday! This year Evan had a "Rock Star" party at The Bouncy Place.
- Rudy, our dog of 14 years, passed away in January. We miss him so much and the kids keep asking when we're going to get another dog? (Answer: not for a long time)
- Erica learned to ride her bike without training wheels.
- Sadly, Fred's oldest sister, Linde, passed away in May after a long illness.

- Evan and Erica each experienced their first year of baseball. (Coach Pitch for Evan, T-Ball for Erica) Fred helped coach Evan's team and had a great time coaching!
- Fred's parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in California. On our way down for the celebration, our trip included camping, ocean, mountains, George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch to see the premier of the movie Wall-E (thanks Uncle Alan!), and about 2,000 miles in the car without getting too bored.

- We took several great side-trips throughout the year! Some of our trips included our annual trip to The San Juan Islands, a business trip to Portland which included a stop at Multnomah Falls, and a day trip to Gig Harbor.

- Erica celebrated her 6th birthday with a Horse Party in our backyard. Yes, Erica is still crazy about horses and the infatuation with horses isn't seeming to fade.
- As the school year began, so did soccer season. Both kids had a great time playing soccer on their respective teams this fall, despite both teams scoring their only goal with 5 minutes left in the SEASON!
First day of school
- Evan is having a great time in his second year of Cub Scouts and is a second grader in a 2nd/3rd grade split class at school. Erica is thrilled to be in her first year of Brownies and is in first grade. Fred is very much enjoying the challenges of his job as a buyer at Boeing and Sue is still holding down the fort at home and enjoys volunteering at the kids' school as often as possible.
We wish you love, joy and peace as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ this Christmas season.
With love,Fred, Sue, Evan and Erica
You are welcome to check out our blog throughout the year, we try to update it as often as possible (or if there is a picture or story worth sharing...)
Could you let us know if you have a blog? We'd love to see what you've been up to as well :-)
