It's been a longer wait than normal for the start of school this year. Due to a teacher's strike our first day of school was delayed by 10 days but the kids were ready and anxious to start school this morning!
Evan is entering 3rd grade and excited to be in a class with a few of his buddies that he's has been on sports teams with.
I can't believe Erica is entering 2nd grade already! She still is my sweet, sensitive girl so there were a few tears from Erica after I took this picture in her classroom.
After school, they were both excited about their teachers and for the school year ahead.
