We started our Easter celebration by having the kids dye eggs the night before Easter Sunday. It's always so much fun for them to brightly color their eggs in anticipation of Easter morning. This year Erica was definitely more excited about coloring eggs! Evan participated for a short while and then decided he would rather play with a buddy and left the rest of the coloring to Erica. No complaints from her!
On Easter, we had family over during the afternoon for a nice dinner.

We had a Easter egg hunt for those who chose to participate, it had to be an inside egg hunt this year because it was too wet outside. Unfortunately, several other cousins weren't able to make it this year so it left only Evan, Erica and cousin Aaron for the egg hunt.
Shortly into the egg hunt, Erica realized her Easter basket was way too small so she had to switch to a larger container for all her plastic eggs during the Easter Egg Hunt.
