Our family decided to spend a Sunday afternoon taking in the sights and sounds of downtown Seattle. What a fun day!
After finding a parking space in the Pacific Place parking garage, we had fun looking at the interesting, festive artwork in the mall, and we even did a little shopping.
We took a short walk to the Sheraton Hotel to view the incredible gingerbread house display created by local chefs and area architects.
A few blocks further and we were at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel to see the special Teddy Bear Suite. Erica especially loved the giant teddy bear!
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is a very grand, old structure with a beautiful interior and impeccably decorated for Christmas. It was so picturesque!
One of my favorite photos from our day!
Next, we traveled several more blocks to Pike Place Market. There, we took in some yummy hot chocolate at the original Starbuck's while taking in a classic Seattle view...
No December day in downtown would be complete without a ride on the carousel!
Such a fun time!
