November has been a busy and eventful month. Here are a few of the hightlights...
Erica decided to try volleyball this year and thoroughly enjoyed learning the fundamentals of the sport. She has become a terrific little server!
Check out the concentration and the form!
Her team consisted of 7 girls and 1 boy in 2nd or 3rd grade, so they all got a lot of playing time. They played other teams of 2nd and 3rd grade kids, it was so exciting to see all of the kids develop their skills from one game to the next! The mere act of getting a serve over the net or returning their opponents serve was such a thrill!
The days before Thanksgiving were quite eventful, our area got quite a dumping of snow. So much that the kids were dismissed early from school on Monday and there was no school on the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
It was beautiful to look at...
The view out the front of our house.
Accumulation on the gas grill.
Our view from the back of our house.
...and made for great sledding weather!
Any time we get measurable snowfall before Thanksgiving, that's something special!
