On Monday, my Mom came over to pick up Evan to take him on a shopping trip for his birthday. To my surprise, Mom also had a wrapped gift for me as an early birthday present (more than a month early!)
I had the choice of opening the gift right away or waiting until my actual birthday to open it-I couldn't wait!
To my delight, Mom had made me a set of six coordinating placemats to match our everyday dishes. {squeal with delight!} My Mom is a very talented quilter and she "whipped up" these placemats knowing I was in desperate need of new placemats.
Sometimes the simplest things in life make my day! Thanks Mom, I love you!
