I had spent quite a bit of time searching the internet for some good recipes for preparing and cooking ribs. Fred said "let's call the master....Pops!" (my dad). We got Dad's recipe and thought we'd followed it exactly.
As it turns out, there was slight problem when Fred opened the foil pouch to inspect the ribs! The drippings went directly onto the flame!
Laughing, I asked Fred if I should get the fire extinguisher or the camera. His answer was to get the fire extinguisher first....but I couldn't resist the photo op.
The kids were excited to learn we were going to Red Robin for dinner that night!
