What a wonderful, fun, special Easter! The kids had a great time coloring Easter eggs earlier in the week, nothing fancy, just good 'ol Easter egg coloring!
On the night before Easter, the kids excitedly put out there Easter baskets and Erica put out carrots for the Easter Bunny and even left a note requesting that the Easter Bunny label their baskets so they would know who's is who's. She even pre-labeled some post-it notes for the Easter Bunny, one with "Evan" and one with "Erica" to make it easier :-)
On Easter Sunday, we were "up and at 'em". The kids ran downstairs and were delighted to see that the Easter Bunny had indeed come!
We were on the road in time to attend the 7:15am service at church and then we stayed and helped check-in children for the 9:00 and 10:45am services. Afterwards, we drove for approximately 1 hour to get to my sister, Lisa's, and her family to spend Easter with my whole family.
Erica loved my sister's family cat, Tigger! I think Tigger really liked her too!
We had a wonderful brunch and then it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt!
