Heading into the season, I wasn't too sure how much Evan would enjoy playing baseball. This was his first season of playing baseball and we've encouraged him to "give it a try" and see how he'd like it.
Evan has a beautiful, natural swing and hits the ball most of the time he's up to bat.

It's been so much fun to watch Evan play baseball and most importantly, he is learning about being part of a team, sportsmanship, and having a good time!

Immediately after the baseball game, it was time to head over to a nearby field for the cub scout rocket launch. The kids were so excited to see their rockets get launched several hundred feet up into the sky!
And then they got to run to retrieve their rocket and parachute!
