Happy Birthday Evan! We are so proud of you and can't believe how quickly these past seven years have flown by!
Unfortunately for Evan, he came down with Pink Eye the day before his birthday! It was reminiscent of when he was a baby and had a blocked tear duct for the first 18 months of his life. It never failed, he always seemed to have a "goopy eye" on the days we were scheduled to have pictures taken!
Evan requested waffles for breakfast - we added the happy face with whipped cream because it was his birthday.
Later our good friends, The Hoyt's, brought by a gift and a cake - complete with a number 7 candle.
We hosted my family for our traditional lasagna feast to celebrate the new year and we had to sing to the birthday boy!
Grammy made Evan a very special airplane quilt and the back side is pretty spectacular as well! Evan loves it and says it's easier for him to make his bed with his new quilt.
